Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Every member of The Gang has something to celebrate at Guigino’s, Philly’s finest eatery. But when Mac and Dennis’ private dinner is interrupted by an unexpected sighting of Frank and Charlie, the in fighting begins. Dee turns up at a table for one, and over the course of the night, the “one ups-manship” soars to new heights.
Our Take
A single-location bottle episode that mostly coasts on the gang’s escalating pettiness over one long dinner. The restaurant setting keeps things tight, and Charlie’s birthday toast is a genuine highlight, but the one-upmanship premise wears a bit thin before the end. Still a fun, low-stakes half hour, just not one of the season’s sharper outings.
