Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After Mac’s revenge obsessed father is released from prison, Mac and Charlie fake their deaths to save their lives. Frank, Dee and Dennis find unique ways of dealing with the loss of the guys.
Our Take
The fake-out death premise gives the gang room for some of their most unhinged grieving, and Dee and Dennis milking the tragedy for personal gain is pretty funny. Charlie and Mac’s survival schemes drag a bit in the middle stretch, though. A solid episode with a few big laughs, even if it never fully commits to its darker ideas.
