Summary
Charlie wants Mac to beat up the waitress’s unknown new boyfriend. Trouble is, Mac is the boyfriend.
Our Take
A solid Charlie and Mac episode that mines a lot of awkward tension out of one dumb secret. Charlie’s slow-burn rage is fun to watch and the eventual blowup mostly pays off, though the Dee subplot feels like filler. Not one of the season’s best, but a comfortable, reliably funny half hour.
