Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After she’s mugged, Dee takes boxing lessons from former pug Frank, who runs into an old nemesis at the gym. Meanwhile, Mac and Dennis enter Charlie in an underground street fight match with hopes of making some money. And both Dee and Charlie need help, which they find in a pill bottle.
Our Take
A scrappy mid-season entry that leans on the show’s reliable formula of the gang ruining each other’s lives for money. Frank and Dee’s training montage bits land well and the underground fight stuff gives Charlie some good physical comedy, though the steroid subplot runs out of jokes before it runs out of runtime. Solid but not one of the season’s standouts.
