Summary
To arrange an in depth exposé, Rebecca pairs cynical journalist Trent Crimm with Ted for a day. Ted and Roy venture into the community.
Our Take
Ted’s relentless optimism finally gets a real test in Trent Crimm, and the show smartly lets the cynical reporter be the one asking if any of it’s genuine. The Roy community subplot is sweet but thin, mostly there to soften him up. Still, it’s the first episode that suggests this show has actual ideas under the charm. Worth your time.
