A Fistful of Paintballs
Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As the Greendale student body enjoys their year end picnic, Dean Pelton announces plans for a small, quick, safe game of paintball. As the game heats up, alliances are formed – and broken – and friendships are put to the test. When a mysterious and threatening figure emerges on the Greendale campus, it becomes apparent that this is no ordinary game of paintball.
Our Take
Part one of the season two finale swings for the fences, swapping last year’s action-movie homage for a dusty western vibe, and the commitment pays off. The alliance-hopping is fun but takes a backseat once the mysterious gunslinger arrives, which is where the episode really finds its footing. It’s mostly setup, yet it never feels like a placeholder. Worth your time, and you’ll want part two queued up immediately after.
