Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Jeff has the hots for his statistics professor and is determined to take her out on a date. He finds the perfect opportunity to pursue her but it happens to interfere with a Day of the Dead party Annie is throwing for their Spanish class. Meanwhile, Pierce comes to terms with being old.
Our Take
This one leans hard on Jeff being a sleaze, which gets old fast, but the Halloween party gives the ensemble plenty to do and Annie’s zombie costume bit lands well. Pierce’s storyline is more sad than funny, though Chevy Chase sells it. A solid mid-season episode with some great visual gags, even if the romance plot feels like a retread.
