Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Senor Chang assigns a project which requires the class to partner up in pairs of two, Jeff conspires to become Britta’s partner. Much to Jeff’s dismay, his valiant attempt backfires and he ends up with an unwelcome partner. Meanwhile, Shirley and Annie help Britta with her latest social justice cause.
Our Take
An early episode still finding its footing, with Chang’s over-the-top hostility doing most of the heavy lifting. The partner-swapping plot is thin, but the Spanish presentation montage is genuinely funny and hints at how weird the show will get. Pierce and Troy’s pairing outshines the Jeff-Britta stuff by a mile. Decent, watchable, not essential yet.
