Our Take
A solid if familiar setup episode that leans hard on Florida’s weirdness to paper over a pretty standard crime premise. Edgar Ramírez is watchable enough as the washed-up ex-cop, and the father-son dynamic has some spark, but the pacing stumbles between quirky and grim. Worth a look if you like sun-baked crime stories, just don’t expect anything new.
