What happens when the ranchers have more power than the Sheriff?
Our Take
A tense standoff episode that finally gives the New Vegas politics some real teeth. The dialogue-heavy stretches could sag, but the power imbalance between the ranchers and the Sheriff keeps things uncomfortable in a good way. It’s more setup than payoff, and a couple of scenes spin their wheels, but the performances carry it. Worth your time if you’re already invested in the season.
