This is a heavy setup hour that mostly gets away with it because the animation keeps finding new ways to stun. The transformations land with real emotional weight, though a couple of the rebellion threads feel like table-setting for the finale. Pacing drags slightly in the middle, but the closing stretch earns the slow burn. Worth your time, especially if you’re already this far in.
