Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Vi awakens to surprising news. An unsettling reunion isn’t what it seems. Caitlyn uncovers the origins of Shimmer.
Our Take
A quieter hour that mostly works because it finally lets Vi and Caitlyn breathe after all the chaos, though the flashbacks to Vander’s past run a bit long. The animation stays gorgeous even in the slower moments, and the Caitlyn storyline adds real weight to the season’s politics. Worth your time, just don’t expect the fireworks of earlier episodes.
