Blurred

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

After his reckless actions cause the escape of a dangerous Sharkticon, Sideswipe goes out of his way to recapture the ‘Con and prove his value to the team in fear of getting replaced by a younger, and faster, newcomer — Rescue Bot Blurr.

Our Take

This one leans hard on Sideswipe’s insecurity, and it mostly works because the character has earned the anxiety. The Sharkticon chases are decent fun, though the middle stretch repeats itself. Blurr’s arrival gives the show a fresh bit of friction, and the resolution lands without getting too preachy. A solid character episode, nothing special, but easy to sit through.
