Summary
Following his stint at the LAPD, Wesley returns to the district attorney’s office where his past connects him to the team’s investigation. Meanwhile, Bailey and John have conflicting feelings over safety, while Lucy grows suspicious of Seth.
Our Take
Wesley’s return gives this hour a nice change of pace, and his scenes with the team have a relaxed chemistry that the show doesn’t always pull off. The Bailey and John disagreement feels like a retread of arguments they’ve already had, though, and Lucy’s suspicion of Seth moves at a crawl. A decent midseason episode, nothing more.
