Summary
When a toddler is found at the scene of a crime, John and Bailey must decide whether to let the child go to a shelter for the night or care for her themselves. Meanwhile, when someone from his past returns, Tim disappears and leaves Lucy in the dark.
Our Take
A slow-burn hour that leans hard on the Chenford fallout, and honestly, that’s where it works best. The foster case gives John and Bailey some warm, low-stakes material, though it occasionally drifts into sentimental territory. Still, the tension between Tim and Lucy carries real weight, and the ending lands hard enough to justify sticking around.
