Season Review
The debut season detonates the premise: Hughie’s girlfriend is vaporized by A-Train, and the pursuit of Vought and Homelander builds a corporate-conspiracy thriller with the most jaw-dropping shock-value on TV. Antony Starr’s Homelander is instantly one of TV’s great villains — a smiling void — and Karl Urban’s Butcher grounds the chaos in real grief.
