Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Officer John Nolan is moving closer to his new role as a training officer. Meanwhile, Lucy’s successful undercover assignment earns her an invitation for specialized training in Sacramento.
Our Take
A transitional episode that mostly works because the character moments land better than the cases do. Lucy getting the Sacramento offer gives her arc some real momentum, and Nolan’s slow march toward training officer duty feels earned rather than rushed. The procedural stuff is standard-issue and forgettable, but the personal stakes keep it watchable. Solid, if not spectacular.
