Summary
Spear starts to question his new life with the Black River people.
Our Take
A quiet, heavy hour that mostly runs on mood, and that’s exactly the point. Spear’s restlessness plays out through body language and small moments instead of action, and the animation carries the loneliness beautifully. It’s slower than most episodes and some stretches feel a bit padded, but the ending lands hard. Worth your time if you’re invested in where his story is heading.
