Spear’s world shatters when he’s shunned by everyone and finally realizes what he has become.
Our Take
This is a quiet, brutal hour that trades action for a long look in the mirror, and it mostly pays off. The isolation is painful to sit through in a way that feels intentional, and the animation does a lot of heavy lifting with no dialogue. It drags a bit in the middle stretch, but the emotional landing sticks. Worth your time.
