Episode Summary & Review
Summary
In the harshness of the primordial winter a herd of woolly mammoths hunt for the murderers of one of their own.
Our Take
A bleak, gorgeous hour that plays like a revenge western with tusks. The mammoth funeral scenes hit surprisingly hard for a show with zero dialogue, and the snowbound hunt has real tension even when you know where it’s heading. The ending is a gut punch, though the middle sags a bit as the chase drags. Still one of the stronger episodes early on.
