Summary
While on a reconnaissance mission, Dinobot is captured by the Predacons. Instead of fighting them he announces that he wants to be a Predacon again. He is able to prove his loyalty by defeating Quickstrike, but when he has to kill Rattrap, he starts to reevaluate his allegiance.
Our Take
A solid Dinobot character piece that trades action for moral hand-wringing, and mostly gets away with it because he’s the show’s best-written figure. The Quickstrike fight is fun, but the middle stretch of Megatron testing his loyalty drags a bit. Worth watching for the ending alone, even if the setup feels contrived.
