Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Terrorsaur leads a rebellion against Megatron, and the ensuing fight accidentally blows up the Darksyde when an Energon sample is hit. Thinking they have won the Beast Wars, the Maximals decide to salvage parts from the Predacon ship and go back to Cybertron. But the destruction of the Predacons turns out to be an elaborate ruse planned by the Predacons themselves.
Our Take
A decent midseason episode that plays like a heist from the Predacon side, with Terrorsaur finally getting his shot at the top before predictably fumbling it. The fake-out destruction of the Darksyde is a fun twist even if the Maximals fall for it a bit too easily. Some clunky animation and stiff dialogue hold it back, but the scheming keeps it watchable.
