Summary
The Maximals detect a Cybertronian probe, and try to contact it.
Our Take
A quiet setup episode that mostly exists to frustrate its characters and audience alike. The probe angle teases a way home, then yanks it away, which lands emotionally but leaves the actual plot feeling thin. Worth a watch for the Dinobot and Rhinox moments, but don’t expect much forward momentum.
