Scorponok tries to infect Optimus with a virus meant to change him into a coward, but it changes the gorilla into a battle hungry maniac instead.
Our Take
A goofy one-off that mostly works because Optimus playing unhinged war machine is genuinely funny. The action beats land well and the pacing never sags, though the comedy is pretty broad and some jokes wear thin by the third act. It’s slight, but it’s a fun change of pace for the season. Worth a watch if you’re already on board, nothing here will convert anyone new.
