Our Take
A goofy one-note premise that mostly gets by on Mordecai and Rigby’s stubborn enthusiasm. The old man’s non-reactions are the best jokes here, and the ending goes big in a way that earns a laugh. It’s slight stuff compared to the season’s bigger swings, but as a quick dumb half-hour it does the job fine.
