Our Take
A goofy eating contest turns into one of the show’s stranger and more surprisingly heartfelt hours, with Mordecai’s obsession escalating into full-on absurdity and a weird secret society bit that lands better than it should. The commitment to the bit is what sells it, and the ending earns its emotional beat without forcing it. Worth your time, easily one of season 3’s best.
