Summary
As Maria’s magic intensifies, Mizrak urges the Abbot to repent and reverse his loyalties. Alucard’s party arrives in Paris at the height of revolution.
Our Take
This one feels like a middle chapter that knows it’s stalling. Maria’s power growth gets some decent visual moments, and Mizrak’s confrontation with the Abbot carries real tension, but the Paris arrival mostly just sets up future trouble without much payoff of its own. Fine if you’re already invested, just don’t expect the season to shift gears here.
