Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Steven has heard rumors of a pair of Gems that are still destroying worlds. If he can’t stop them, maybe Lapis can.
Our Take
A knockout half-hour that proves this show still has new tricks. Lapis finally gets an episode worthy of her, and the pair of wayward Gems are genuinely funny before the episode turns quietly devastating about habits and change. The ending lands hard without forcing it. Short, strange, and emotionally sharp in a way only this series manages. Worth every minute.
