Steven and the Crystal Gems get a chance to catch up when they’re all snowed in together.
Our Take
A cozy, low-stakes hangout episode that coasts on charm rather than plot, and honestly that’s fine. The shapeshifting tag game is goofy fun and gives the Gems room to be silly together, though the Steven-acting-like-a-kid-again bit gets a little thin by the halfway mark. Worth a watch if you miss the old ensemble energy, but it won’t change how you feel about the season.
