Summary
After plunging into the unknown, Huntress faces off with an old foe, Fionna contends with painful memories, and Cake confronts her inner truth with help from the Karmic Worm.
Our Take
This one leans hard into the show’s stranger impulses, and it mostly pays off. The Karmic Worm material is weird in a way that feels earned rather than random, and Cake gets the episode’s most affecting stretch as she works through what she actually wants. Fionna’s storyline is thinner and occasionally drags, but the emotional beats land by the end. Worth your time, even if the middle sags a bit.
