Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Wizard City follows Peppermint Butler, starting over at the beginning, as just another inexperienced Wizard School student. When mysterious events at the campus cast suspicion on Pep, and his checkered past, can he master the mystic arts in time to prove his innocence?
Our Take
A fun change of pace that leans into magic school tropes while letting Peppermint Butler’s shady history do the heavy lifting. The mystery moves quickly and the jokes land more often than not, though the ending wraps things up a little too neatly. Still, it’s a solid hour with enough weird Ooo flavor to justify the watch, especially if you like Pep.
