Summary
After crash landing at different locations, the Autobots and the Decepticons encounter the planet’s denizens and are shocked to learn who they are.
Our Take
The season opener spends a lot of time on scattered crash landings before getting to the actual hook, and the pacing suffers for it. Still, the reveal at the end lands well and sets up an intriguing new dynamic for both factions. The animation holds up during the action beats. A slow start, but it earns enough goodwill to keep you watching.
