Summary
Optimus has a plan but needs Ratchet’s help. Ultra Magnus is tortured for information while Starscream continues to foster dissent among the Seekers.
Our Take
The torture scenes with Ultra Magnus give this episode some actual weight, and Megatron feels genuinely menacing for once. The Optimus and Ratchet material is quieter but works well enough. It’s a solid middle chapter that moves pieces around without dragging, even if Starscream’s scheming is starting to feel repetitive.
