Our Take
A strong season opener that shifts the formula by putting Megatron and a memory-wiped Optimus front and center, and the twist genuinely works. The Decepticon side of things hasn’t been this interesting in a while, and the animation on Cybertron’s ruins looks sharp. It ends mid-story, so expect to hang on for part two, but it earns it.
