Summary
Megatron joins with the Autobots to journey to the core of the Earth and vanquish Unicron with the Matrix of Leadership.
Our Take
Part two keeps the unlikely alliance rolling and it’s a lot of fun watching Megatron snipe at Optimus while pretending to play nice. The Earth’s interior looks great, and the banter carries what’s otherwise a fairly straightforward march toward the finale. It’s a solid middle chapter, though it clearly exists to set up the conclusion. Worth your time if you’ve come this far.
