Summary

Optimus Prime and Ratchet head out to investigate Megatron’s activities while Arcee and Bumblebee go on patrol, leaving Bulkhead with Jack, Miko and Rafael at the base. Meanwhile, Soundwave kidnaps the Autobot allied human Agent William Fowler, with Starscream wishing to learn the location of the Autobot base. Debuts: Laserbeak and Terrorcons Deaths: Terrorcons

Our Take

This is a solid middle chapter that mostly works as a monster-of-the-week setup while the bigger plot simmers. Fowler’s interrogation scenes have real tension, and the Terrorcon debut gives Bulkhead something fun to smash, but the kids-at-the-base subplot drags and Miko is already wearing thin. Worth a watch, though it clearly exists to stall before the finale.
