Our Take
A rare flashback-heavy episode for this show, and it mostly works because it gives Optimus some actual backstory instead of just hero posturing. The tragedy angle lands better than expected, though the pacing drags in the middle stretch. Not essential viewing, but it adds weight to characters who needed it. Worth a watch if you’re already invested.
