Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Monkey is violently reunited with Akiko, while the rift with Bryce deepens. Meanwhile, Monkey’s bonds with the Co-Op grows deeper, and Boone’s tragic past comes to light.
Our Take
Akiko’s return gives this hour a real jolt, and the messy, violent history between her and Monkey makes for the episode’s best material. Boone’s backstory lands harder than expected too. The Bryce rift drags a bit in the middle, but the strong emotional payoff at the end makes it easy to forgive.
