Summary
Coulson convinces one of Hale’s people to help him. Meanwhile, Jemma and Elena come up with a plan to free Fitz, while Daisy and Melinda turn to Robin for help.
Our Take
A decent middle-of-the-road hour that mostly sets the board for bigger things. Coulson’s unlikely team-up with Creel is the highlight, giving us some genuinely interesting character work, while the Fitz rescue plot moves slower than it should. Robin’s cryptic warnings are fine but familiar. Worth watching if you’re invested in the season, just don’t expect any big payoffs here.
