Summary
Fitz tries to seal the rift, and what appears to be his greatest fear materializes to help him. Meanwhile, Coulson and Melinda capture Hale only to discover that it’s a trap.
Our Take
A dark, unsettling hour that puts Fitz through the wringer, and Iain De Caestecker clearly relishes the chance to play against type. The rift materialization stuff is creepy and effective, though the Hale capture subplot feels like filler until its twist lands. It drags a bit in the middle, but the ending packs a real punch. Worth it for Fitz fans especially.
