Summary
The team turn to Asgardian Elliott Randolph for help deciphering the monolith and rescuring Jemma. Meanwhile, Grant abducts a key player in his quest to rebuild Hydra, while Lance begins his quest to find–and kill–Grant.
Our Take
A busy hour that splits its attention three ways, and the Simmons rescue delivers the most satisfying payoff, even if the solution feels a bit too easy. The Hydra subplot with Ward moves things along nicely, though Hunter’s revenge mission mostly just spins its wheels. Solid entertainment with some genuine emotion, but it’s setup-heavy and you’ll feel it.
