Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Dangerous new alliance is formed as Coulson and Hunter turn to the last person anyone would expect – Grant Ward! As the war between S.H.I.E.L.D. factions continues, Skye and Lincoln will find themselves drawn into this conflict.
Our Take
A busy setup hour that mostly works because Ward remains the show’s most watchable mess, and pairing him with Coulson and Hunter generates real tension. The Skye and Lincoln material drags by comparison, and the Hydra subplot feels like table-setting for later. Uneven, but the character dynamics carry it enough to be worth your time.
