Summary

Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources — but that’s not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again?

Our Take

A solid season opener that mostly works as a reset, trading the old base for a scrappier fugitive setup. The new additions like Lucy Lawless fit in nicely, and the sharper tone suits where the show is heading. The pacing still stumbles when it stops to re-explain itself, but the closing twist lands well. Worth checking in if you stuck with season one.
