Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye’s past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
Our Take
A middling hour that leans hard on backstory reveals, and your enjoyment depends entirely on how much you care about Skye’s origins. The academy setting is a nice change of pace, and the flashbacks give Chloe Bennet some real material to work with, but the pacing stumbles in the middle stretch. Decent worldbuilding, just not a particularly exciting one.
