Season Review
The ending that broke the internet’s heart. The Long Night resolves the White Walker threat in one episode (the Night King’s death by dagger-drop is gorgeous but hollow — eight seasons of prophecy for an Arya sprint), then Dany burns King’s Landing in an episode that needed two seasons of buildup and got two hours, and Bran the Broken wins the throne in a meeting-room scene that reads like a corporate offsite. The performances (Headey, Dinklage, Clarke) remain superb; the writing betrays every character arc it built. Watch it to finish the story — then read the books’ ending, which will hopefully exist.
