Summary
The team goes back to where things all began to confront Shaw. On the brink of collapse, Monarch takes drastic measures.
Our Take
A mostly satisfying hour that finally pushes the simmering Shaw confrontation into the open, and the show is better when it stops stalling. The flashbacks continue to outclass the present-day stuff, though Cate and her group are starting to earn their screen time. The monster action stays limited, so come for the tension, not the kaiju. Worth it if you’ve stuck around this far.
