Episode Summary & Review
Summary
In the mirror universe, hungry for power Archer and the crew use the 23rd-century Defiant to thwart a Tholian attack and its advanced weaponry to put down a rebellion setting their sights on seizing control of all of Earth’s Terran Empire. But first, he must rid the ship of a deadly Gorn stowaway.
Our Take
The second half delivers the flashy payoff, with the Defiant turning the Tholian ambush into a genuinely satisfying space battle and Archer’s power grab staying fun to watch. The Gorn hunt is the weak stretch, feeling like a horror subplot bolted on to pad the runtime. Overall a pulpy, enjoyable hour that wraps the mirror arc without overstaying its welcome.
