Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The ship splinters into a myriad of time zones, and only Chakotay can travel among the fragments of time to save Janeway and the crew.
Our Take
A cleverly structured hour that lets the show revisit its own history without feeling like a clip show. Chakotay finally gets something meaty to do, and his scenes with a pre-Delta Quadrant Janeway are the best stuff here, genuinely funny and a little wistful. The plot logic falls apart if you poke at it, but the ride is brisk enough that you won’t much care.
