Our Take
A surprisingly heavy character piece that gives Neelix his best material in ages, even if the show has to kill him first to get there. Ethan Phillips sells the grief and doubt well, and the Chakotay scenes are quietly effective. It drags a bit in the middle and the reset button looms, but the ending resists easy comfort. Worth your time.
