Summary
About to enter Borg space, the Voyager crew discovers a threat so devastating that even the Borg cannot deal with it.
Our Take
A rare season finale that earns its cliffhanger instead of just teasing one. The first real glimpse of Species 8472 is genuinely unsettling, and the Janeway and Chakotay conflict over allying with the Borg gives the episode real teeth. It’s a tense, well-paced hour where the stakes finally feel as big as the show keeps claiming they are. Absolutely worth it.
